About
People of SEPTA is a fan-made, satirical celebration of riding public transit around Philadelphia and its suburbs. Riders submit photos and captions of the memorable characters and moments they spot on buses, trolleys and trains. A human reviews everything before it appears.
Not affiliated
This site is independent and has no connection to any transit authority. Vehicle photos are by independent photographers and are used under Creative Commons licenses; see the credits below. Any marks visible in those photos belong to their owners.
Rules
- Affectionate, not cruel. No harassment, slurs or mocking of disability, poverty or crisis.
- No minors. No photos of people in distress, asleep in a vulnerable way, or in private spaces.
- No personal information: names, plates, phone numbers, addresses.
- If you are in a photo and want it removed, email the admin and it comes down, no questions asked.
